This page explains how ClipCashX uses limited Shopify store and order data for Pay per Sale attribution, delivery eligibility, order status checks and reward eligibility.
Purpose and roles
ClipCashX uses the Shopify connection to support merchant campaign attribution, delivery-country eligibility, order lifecycle checks, reward finalization, fraud and replay prevention, and reconciliation. The merchant remains responsible for its shopper sale.
Categories and minimization
The connection uses store, order and product identifiers, the promotion tracking identifier, relevant order lifecycle timestamps and status, currency, refund/return evidence, and delivery country where required.
ClipCashX does not store shopper name, email, phone, full postal address, payment-card information or unrelated purchase history for reward calculation. Additional fields returned by Shopify during an API response are discarded before storage.Merchant and service responsibilities
The merchant remains responsible for its store, its shopper relationship and informing its customers about the store connection. ClipCashX restricts access to the connected store data and uses it only for the Pay per Sale purposes described on this page.
Security, incidents and requests
Shopify authorization uses OAuth state and HMAC validation. Store credentials are held in a protected token vault, and access is limited to the store connection and the purposes described on this page.
Privacy or security questions can be sent to clipcash.support1@gmail.com.Retention and uninstall
Uninstall or revocation stops future authorized collection from that store. Operational Shopify connection data is handled separately from financial, fraud-prevention and replay records that may need to be retained.
